2nd Prize: Trillium 4-wheeled walker.

Drive-Thru Strawberry Tea

Strawberry Tea >to go!

To thank our wonderful community, we are hosting a Drive-Thru Strawberry Tea. Drop by for your special treat on Sunday, June 27th from 1-3pm at Mount Newton Centre 2158 Mt. Newton X Road in Saanichton. Enjoy local strawberries from Michell’s Farm, a piece of homemade cake and tea sachets from Janet’s Special Teas.

Funds traditionally collected at this time of year are essential to providing our desperately needed services to many Saanich Peninsula seniors and other community members in need. Thank you for your support!

Community Program Update…

At Mount Newton Centre we care deeply for our clients and their health and safety is our priority. We have been monitoring the situation concerning COVID-19 and have been taking extra precautions in our day to day operations. Based on updated information from the Provincial Health Officer and supported by Island Health, Manager of Adult Day Programming, and with the best interests of our clients and staff in mind, we have made the decision to suspend all of our community programs.
Mount Newton Centre will be closed to clients as of today (March 16th) until the end of March. We will notify you of any changes to these dates. Mount Newton Centre staff will continue to keep in touch via telephone with our clients and caregivers during this time.
We appreciate your understanding and support!

Dan’s Retirement

We said “Happy Retirement” to Dan after 32 years of being part of Mount Newton Centre as Bus Driver, Care Aide as well as support staff in the Loan Cupboard. He will be greatly missed by us all and we wish him and Maggie all the very best!
